i would like to say farewell to luis figo of inter milan, paolo maldini of ac milan and pavel nedved of juventus for their wonderful years of service towards their respective clubs and most importantly, towards football. football without gentlemen like them would be unthinkable. though i do not watch italian serie A, i do know of their contributions! especially towards their respective countries. the glory they bring, fuuuh. maldini is 41 while nedved and figo are 36 each this year. i feel a sense of loss at their retirement. but whatever it is, they will be sorely missed. adieu!
