meet the pekoppa toy! newest invention by sega, an IC chip is placed in the pot to be able to identify rythms in human speech. a current is sent through the stem, which bends and stretches accordingly. the movement's supposed to resemble a human being’s nod. and it will only move when someone speaks to it.

ok the toy is actually targeted for office workers or loners, those who desperately need someone to communicate to, i'm neither of both hmm maybe a loner nah it's cool to be a loner anyway haha. see if i got problems but i don't feel like talking to anyone, i can talk to this toy! pretty cool eh? or pretty sad. ah but who cares. it costs 2,310 yen or 26 bucks. i think 26 bucks is in US$.

they have the flower version though, called the hanappa. but i can't find a picture of it cause it'll only be released in june. but it costs 2,625 yen. wee bit more expensive. nevermind, when it's being sold at jepang, i will upload a picture of it!
